Preliminary statistics show that at the end of the second quarter of 2023, the total assets of my country's financial industry institutions were 449.21 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. Among them, the total assets of banking institutions were 406.25 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%; the total assets of securities industry institutions were 13.76 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5%; the total assets of insurance industry institutions were 29.2 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%.
The liabilities of financial industry institutions were 410.48 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%. Among them, the liabilities of banking institutions were 373.63 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%; the liabilities of securities industry institutions were 10.45 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%; the liabilities of insurance industry institutions were 26.39 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%.
